Parts and accessories for 1936 – 1953 Vintage Indian Motorcycles

  • Qty. = Quantity required per motorcycle for that Group.
  • U/M = Unit of measure for each part.
  • A/R = As Required. You can order however many you want to do the job. You may have to make a size decision based on an assembly fitting dimension.
  • Pr. = Pair, two corresponding parts designed for use together
  • Pt. = Sold by the Pint. (16 ounces)
  • Set = A part that can only be used successfully with another mating part. Which makes up a set. Sold as a Set.
  • Ft. = Sold in any length by one Foot increments.
  • Fasteners = Includes screws, bolts, washers and nuts.
  • Kit = A collection of parts grouped together known as a kit. By purchasing a kit, the customer will realize a savings compared to the cost of purchasing parts individually.
  • Assembly = parts that have been partially assembled to the extent of being ready to mount to motorcycle.
  • Original = An exact part that was made by Indian Motorcycle Company.
  • Original Reproduction = A part which works properly in fit and function. Part looks original but is not NOS. All items considered reproduction unless otherwise noted.
  • NOS = "New Old Stock", an Indian factory original part (sometimes cosmetically blemished), that has never been used.
  • Universal = A part that fits many different years and models of motorcycles.
  • Modern Style = A part which works properly in function. May look slightly different than a reproduction or NOS part.
  • Aftermarket = Any part that is not made by Indian Motorcycle Company.
  • SOLD USED AS-IS = Condition and usability vary. A reasonably accurate description can be given over the telephone, but no refunds, or credits can be given after purchase.
  • Bare Finish = unfurnished material that has the opportunity to cause corrosion.
  • Cad Plated = The part is plated with cadmium, provide corrosion resistance. All items considered cad plated unless otherwise noted.
  • Nickel Plated = The part is plated with nickel, provide corrosion resistance.
  • Chrome = This part is plated with chromium. provide corrosion resistance, ease cleaning procedures, or increase surface hardness.
  • Parkerized = is a method of protecting a steel surface from corrosion and increasing its resistance to wear through the application of an electrochemical phosphate conversion coating.
